    Artistic Statement

I am intrigued by the ideas of perception and the mechanisms of how we perceive. My starting point is to ask specific questions. Working with familiar subjects I use them as a context to examine those questions. I work in different mediums: printmaking, painting, photography, and drawing. The experience in each medium affects the others, allowing for interchanges between each.
