As part of the Ontario and Canada 150th Anniversary celebrations, Boisés Est and Centre Culturel Le Chenail Cultural Centre are organizing a painting exhibition entitled “The People’s Forest” to illustrate the role played by forests in the development and culture of Eastern Ontario’s population.  

The works of 20 professional artists selected by the organizing committee will be displayed at the Le Chenail Cultural Centre from 7 September to 1 October 2017. An official presentation will be held on Wednesday, 27 September 2017, Canada’s National Tree Day. The event will also serve to launch the program celebrating Boisés Est’s own 20th Anniversary (1998-2018).

This exhibition will be held in collaboration with CAPRAC.

Conseil des arts Prescott Russell Arts Council (CAPRAC) issues the following criteria to retain the services of a professional photographer, who can perform the work described below.

Letter from tenders must be sealed and labeled clearly as follows: Tender, Professional Photographer. The letters of bids received after the time specified will not be considered.

2nd Annual General Meeting of Conseil des arts Prescott Russell Arts Council (CAPRAC)

The Board of Directors is proud to convene you to the Conseil des arts Prescott Russell Arts Council's (CAPRAC) 2nd Annual General Meeting (AGM). The Board of Directors and CAPRAC members are invited to discuss the organization’s past year as well as CAPRAC’s direction and future projects. During this official event, two special presentations await you: 1- the Tourisme Prescott-Russell Tourism team will be giving a demonstration on how to submit your events and activities to be posted FREE OF CHARGE on their on-line, electronic calendar, which is accessible on their website as well as through CAPRAC’S website, and 2- CAPRAC will be revealing their long anticipated triennial strategic plan!
